Interactive Map: Burnsville Police Activity (March 27, 2012)
During March, the Burnsville Police Department saw a bevy of thefts, a good number of car accidents and arrests and a scattering of lost persons.
Editor's Note: Today we're debuting a monthly crime and police activity map. Each pin is accompanied by a short description of what happened — be it a burglary or hit and run. The pins are color coded: Red indicates an arrest, green represents a car accident, the aqua color stands for a lost person and yellow pins stand for a felony-level incident. The majority are blue, which stand in for a variety of incidents — trespassing, vandalism, minor thefts and other smaller things.
