Police Blotter: June 1-June 8

In the week leading up to the last day of school, the BPD reported a dramatic spurt in juvenile arrests, theft and property damage.

June 1

• BPD arrested a 37-year-old Burnsville woman for theft.

• BPD assisted with warrant service at an address on County Road 11.

• BPD responded to reports of theft in the 200 block of McAndrews Road West, the 1500 block of Burnsville Parkway East, the 1900 block of Burnsville Parkway West and the 11,000 block of Langford Circle.

• BPD responded to reports of a case of first-degree property damage on Lady Bird Lane.

• BPD arrested a juvenile for third-degree property damage at 100 Civic Center Parkway.

June 2

• BPD arrested a juvenile for third-degree assault, substantial bodily harm.

• BPD arrested a Burnsville man, 27, for domestic assault by strangulation.

• BPD arrested a 50-year-old burnsville man for domestic assault and interfering with a 911 call.

• BPD responded to reports of a burglary in the 12,000 block of County Road 5.

• BPD responded to reports of property damage in the 2000 block of Cliff Road, the 1300 block of McAndrews Road East, and the 2700 block of Selkirk Drive.

• BPD responded to reports of theft in both the 900 block and 1700 block of County Road 42, the 14,000 block of Portland Avenue, and the 14,000 block of Regent Lane. 

June 4

• BPD arrested an 18-year-old Prior Lake man for fleeing police (not by motor vehicle) and third-degree damage to property.

• BPD arrested a Rosemount man, 26, for second-degree DWI and speeding in a work zone.

• BPD arrested a 38-year-old St. paul man for violating an order for protection.

• BPD arrested a juvenile for a fourth-degree property damage after getting a call from a property in the 2000 block of Cliff Road.

June 5

• BPD took a 23-year-old Nashville man into custody on charges of DWI and assault on a peace officer.

• BPD responded to reports of a theft at an address in the 1200 block of Earle Way, the 15,000 block of Greenhaven Lane, the 100 block of 125th Street East, and the 100 block of McAndrews Road West.

• BPD responded to reports of property damage in the 12,000 block of Nicollet Avenue, the 2000 block of Highway 13, the 15,000 block of Fremont Avenue, the 15,000 block of Cherry Lane and the 1200 block of 158th Street West.

• BPD responded to a report of vehicle theft at an address in the 14,000 block of Summit Shores Drive.
