Car Seat Conundrum? The BPD Can Help

The police department is offering free, monthly demonstrations on how to properly install a car seat.

Whether you're a new parent or a seasoned vet struggling with a new car seat, the Burnsville Police Department can help: Once a month, officers will be available to offer tips and pointers on how to properly install child restraints or a car seat.

Interested parents will meet with a member of the BPD who has completed the required 40-hour course and continuing education to be certified by the National Child Passenger Safety program. The demonstration will last approximately 45 minutes.

Demonstrations are available by appointment only. To schedule an appointment, contact Officer Lyn Tonne at 612-328-8498
