Three women told police that they were in the apartment complex’s parking lot changing a tire when Hom, who lives in a ground-floor apartment, shouted at them through her window to get away from her truck, which was parked next to the vehicle whose tire was being changed.

The women said Hom pointed a long gun out the window at them while she was yelling. Two of the women said the rifle was equipped with a scope.

One of the witnesses told police that a man who lives with Hom was in the parking lot when the alleged victims called police. The man went into the apartment, and when officers arrived, Hom was gone, according to the complaint.

Police found an air rifle matching the description of the one that the women saw behind a bedroom door in Hom’s apartment.  They also found a metal rifle scope lying on top of the bed, the complaint says.
