Burnsville Police Net Another Woman for Prostitution

Kristina Angelique Bloxson is charged with a felony drug count and a misdemeanor count of prostitution.

Another woman has been arrested as part of the Burnsville Police Department’s ongoing prostitution sting operation.

Kristina Angelique Bloxson, 20, who has no permanent address, was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony drug possession and prostitution. The drug charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine; the maximum penalty for prostitution, a misdemeanor, is 90 days in jail and a $1,000 fine.

According to the criminal complaint, filed in Dakota County District Court in Hastings, an undercover Burnsville police officer working a prostitution detail answered an ad on an adult website under the “escorts” category.

Bloxson identified herself in the ad as “Kat” and said she was “four-twenty friendly,” a term that refers to marijuana, the complaint says.

The officer contacted Bloxson and made arrangements for her to come to an apartment in Burnsville, telling her that he was looking for an hour of her time. The woman said her “donation” was $175 an hour and that she would pick up some marijuana and meet him in 15 to 20 minutes, according to the complaint.

When Bloxson arrived at the apartment, she produced a baggie containing a half-ounce marijuana and offered to sell it to the officer for $45, the complaint says.

“Based on the fact that the baggie was more consistent with a $20 baggie of marijuana, the officer attempted to negotiate the price to $40,” the complaint says. “’Kat’ refused, and they agreed on $45 for the marijuana and $175 for her services.”

The officer put $240 in cash on the living-room table and asked if there was anything that was off-limits. Bloxson told the officer that she did not engage in anal sex, but anything else was fine as long as it was “protected,” the complaint says.

The officer told Bloxson that he wanted to use the bathroom before they got started and left the living room. An arrest team came in and arrested Bloxson.

The complaint against Bloxson is the sixth this month in which Burnsville police have charged women with prostitution. ,  and .
