Burnsville Police Blotter: May 4-May 11

This week the BPD was busy: Lots of theft, vandalism and DWIs.

Update: According to Sgt. Rory Bochniak, the alleged sex crime was not substantiated by fact. He added that its inclusion in the documents provided to Patch was an accidental oversight.

• BPD arrested a 21-year-old local man classified as a predatory offender for knowingly violating registration requirements.

• BPD responded to reports of a theft in the 15000 block of Greenhaven Drive.

• BPD responded to an address in the 2400 block of Friendship Lane after receiving a report of a juvenile runaway who was later located.

• BPD arrested a juvenile for possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 6

• BPD arrested a 22-year-old Savage woman on fourth-degree DWI charges.

• BPD arrested a 59-year-old Prior Lake man on third-degree DWI charges.

• BPD responded to a report of a theft in the 1300 block of 140th Street West.

• BPD responded to an address in the 50th block of McAndrews Road West after receiving reports of financial transaction fraud.

• BPD responded to an address in the 13000 block of Echo Court to investigate after receiving reports of damage to property.

May 7

• BPD arrested a local man, 22, on charges of driving after suspension and a third-degree DWI.

• BPD responded to a report of a theft in the 100 block of Highway 13 East.

• BPD responded to an address in the 12000 block of County Road 11 after receiving reports of damaged property.

• BPD responded to reports of a burglary in the 1100 block of Cliff Road East.

May 8

• BPD responded to reports of a theft in the 1400 block of 122 Street East.

• BPD were called to an address in the 1200 block of McAndrews Road East to investigate an alleged first-degree sex crime.

May 9

• BPD arrested a 22-year-old Hopkins man for theft.

• BPD arrested a Minnetonka man, 20, on fifth-degree drug charges and possession of hypodermic needles and other drug paraphernalia.
