A quiet week in Burnsville: Two traffic accidents, a few assaults and theft galore.

May 18

• BPD arrested a 45-year-old Burnsville man for drunk driving at the intersection of County Road 42 and portland Avenue South.

• BPD assisted during two traffic accidents—one on Burnsville Parkway near Nicollet and another in the 500 block of Crystal Lake Road. No injuries were reported at either scene. 

• BPD arrested an 18-year-old for receiving stolen property and tampering with a motor vehicle.

May 19

• BPD went out on a call concerning damage to property in the 12,000 block of Aldrich Avenue South.

• BPD resounded to reports of a theft in the 14,000 block of Burnhaven Drive, the 1400 block of County Road 42 West, the 14,000 block of Portland Avenue South and an address near the intersection of 136th Street and Aldrich.

• BPD arrested a theft suspect in the 14,000 block of Buck Hill Road.

• BPD arrested a 23-year-old Faribault woman and a 39-year-old Rosemount man on theft charges.

May 20

• BPD resounded to reports of a theft in the 13,000 block of Parkwood Drive.

• BPD arrested a Savage woman, 50, on DWI charges.

• BPD arrested a 27-year-old Burnsville woman and a Faribault man, 24, for possession of marijuana.

May 21

• BPD took a 51-year-old Chaska man into custody for a second-degree DWI after stopping him at the intersection of Burnhaven Drive and County Road 42 West.

• BPD arrested a juvenile for consuming alcohol under age.

May 22

May 23

• BPD responded to a report of a theft at an address in the 2800 block of Rolling Oaks Road.

• BPD arrested a 28-year-old Burnsville man on third-degree DWI charges and driving with a suspended license.

May 24

• BPD arrested 32-year-old St. Paul man on charges of third-degree assault, a felony, and giving a peace office a false name.

• BPD arrested a 27-year-old Burnsville man on fifth-degree assault charges.

• BPD arrested a local man, age 23, after he allegedly assaulted and threatened a household member. The man is also charged with displaying a firearm.
