Burnsville Police Blotter, May 12-May 18

This week the BPD arrested two men on weapons and first-degree drug charges. Otherwise, it was business as usual —lots DWIs and thefts.

May 12

• BPD arrested a 48-year-old  man from Akron, OH for a fourth-degree DWI.

• BPD responded to a report of a theft in the 12000 block of Penn Avenue South.

• BPD responded to reports of a burglary in the 100 block of Travelers Trail East.

May 13

• BPD arrested a Burnsville woman, 34, for violating a no-contact order.

• BPD responded to a report of a theft on the 2000 block of Selkirk Drive.

May 14

• BPD arrested a 21-year-old woman for a fourth-degree DWI.

• BPD arrested a Prior Lake man, 24, for fourth-degree DWI.

• BPD responded to a report of a theft in the 300 block of McAndrews Road West.

• BPD arrested a juvenile for theft at an address in the 900 block of County Road 42.

May 15

• BPD arrested a Minneapolis man, 20, for receiving stolen property, first-degree drug possession, and carrying a weapon illegally.

• BPD arrested a 20-year-old Burnsville man for carrying a weapon in a public place without a permit and first-degree possession of drugs.

• BPD responded to a theft in the 2500 block of Williams Drive.

May 17

• BPD took a 46-year-old local man into custody for third-degree DWI, speeding, and violating traffic regulations on a divided highway.
