Burnsville Man Seriously Injured in Morrison County Crash

Lee Johnson, a 49-year-old Burnsville resident, was ejected from his Chevy Suburban during an accident on Highway 371.

A local man was seriously injured on Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle on Highway 371 up north.

According to a report from the Brainerd Dispatch, 49-year-old Lee Johnson lost control of his vehicle as he was driving in the south bound lanes around 2:20 p.m. The Suburban veered into the median and rolled, ejecting Johnson from the vehicle. Johnson was the sole occupant of the SUV. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The state patrol reports that he suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries. Johnson was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls for medical care.
