According to the criminal complaint, the 15-year-old victim came to the Burnsville police station last week to report that she and Galatowitsch had had sex in a home in the 1100 block of Zebulon Pike Avenue “a little less than 10 times.”

The victim said she and Galatowitsch began having sex last year before Galatowitsch went to jail for a year. When he was released at the end of June and returned to the Burnsville home, they began having sex again, beginning on July 4, according to the complaint.

The victim said that when Galatowitsch wanted to have sex, he began “touching her” inappropriately. She told police that she resisted his sexual advances by saying “no,” ignoring him or trying to hit him.

She said Galatowitsch’s attempts happened once a day or every other day, but that he never forced sex on her.

When police went to the home to talk to Galatowitsch, a woman identified as his girlfriend told them that when officers arrived, he ran out the back door.

Galatowitsch was arrested last Thursday in Burnsville.

His criminal record includes several convictions for domestic assault.
