Burglars Steal Cash, Cow from Burnsville Restaurant

Nearly $2,000 in money and meat was taken last week.

Most burglars stick to money. Not the men who broke into a Burnsville restaurant last week. According to police, they made off with $1,750 in cash and checks—and $200 in steaks.

According to WCCO, Tyler Cole Stanford and Keith Michael Miller were charged with the crime in Dakota County court on Monday. They both face up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted.

The station reports that police tracked the men to a Burnsville hotel with the help of security footage and hotel staff. When they searched the men's room, they found  Sanford, Miller, numerous cuts of meat, and a third man who fingered the pair as the culprits.
