Body Found in Inver Grove Heights Identified

The Dakota County Sheriff's Office believes that the deceased was a Minneapolis man who went missing last fall.

Authorities have identified a badly decomposed body found along the Mississippi last Tuesday. According to the Dakota County Medical Examiner, the deceased is Larry Hill, a 51-year-old Minneapolis man who was reported missing on Nov. 6, 2010.

In a press release on Monday, Dakota County Sheriff Dave Bellows said Hill was last seen at his residence in South Minneapolis. Hill's family members told authorities that Hill was a vulnerable adult who was also suffering from several medical issues.

At this point, investigators do not believe that Hill's death was the result of foul play. However, the investigation into Hill’s last days continues.
