Joseph Thomas Rinaldi, of Apple Valley, died peacefully at his home on Sept. 22, 2012 at the age of 85.
Rinaldi, a former resident of Hibbing, was a proud member of the Seabees, the U.S. Navy's construction force.
He is preceded in death by his previous wife, Jeanette; daughter Renee Robinson; grandson, Joey Schneiderman; sisters, Sabina and Polly; and son-in-law, Russell Schneiderman.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica; children, Therese Rinaldi, Michael (Jennifer) Anderson, Monica Schneiderman, Dennis (Kim) Anderson, and Nancy (Rodney) Nefzger; son-in-law, Robert Robinson; grandchildren, Michael, John, Molly, Nicole, Thomas, Dale, Spencer, Vernon, Nicole, and Traci; six great-grandchildren; sister, Isabelle Rodgers; Also by nieces, other relatives and many friends.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at Church of the Risen Savior in Burnsville. Visitation is scheduled from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to service at church.
