Burnsville resident Albert J. Shuhler, Jr. passed away Aug. 14, 2012, at age 76.
Shuhler served in both the Marines and U.S. Air Force. He was a proud veteran and member of the American Legion and the 40 & 8 Club. During his civilian career, Shuhler was an auditor at the Metropolitan Council. He also taught college in Stubenville, OH, and was an Airport Transportation Auditor in Washington D.C.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; daughters, Suzanne (Chuck) Martz and Pam (Kurt) Birnstiel; granddaughters, Joni (Todd) Preuss and Tiffany Martz; great-granddaughter, Allison Preuss; and by other loving family and friends.
A memorial service for Shuhler is set for 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012 at White Funeral Home in Burnsville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, and on Friday, Aug. 17 from 9 to 10 a.m. A family interment will be held at Pleasant View Cemetery in Burnsville.
