Burnsville resident John T. McGowan, also known “Terry,” died at the age of 85 on June 23, 2012.
He is preceded in death by parents John H. and Gilberte McGowan, an infant daughter Ann Marie, and brother Tom McGowan.
He is survived by wife Joan, children Laurie Thulien, Mary Jo McGowan, Tom McGowan, Bill (Tiffany) McGowan and Jim (Amy) McGowan; and nine grandchildren. His family bid him farewell during a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Church of the Risen Savior. He was interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
