Tyrone Mitchell III, of Apple Valley, passed away Feb. 24, 2013 at the age of 25.
"I was Tyrone's guidance counselor at Eastview, and he was one who touched my heart. I know that we are not supposed to have 'favorite students' but I am not afraid to say that Tyrone is and will always be a favorite," wrote Anne Scholen in Mitchell's online guestbook. "His kind soul, gentle nature, and acceptance of all touched everyone around him, and we are all better for having known him. I'm so sorry for your loss."
Mitchell is preceded in death by his step-father, Martin Ware Sr. and grandmother, Linda Jackson “Nana”.

He is survived by his mother, Denise Ware; siblings, Martina, Melita and Martin Ware Jr.; girlfriend, Marcie Abraham; uncle Kendall Coleman and aunt Cicely McCloud; also by other loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service for Mitchell will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11 a.m. at White Funeral Home in Burnsville.
