Open Circle Church Harvest Festival

Free-will donation yard sale and more at Open Circle Church's annual Harvest Festival. Yard sale and bake sale begin at 8 a.m. Live music, bounce house, kids activities, meal with grilled burgers, hot dogs and fixings and more begins at 10 a.m. The public is invited. Proceeds support Dakota Woodlands Shelter, a provider of shelter and supportive services to homeless women and families in Eagan, and Open Circle Church. The event also celebrates the end of the growing season for the Highland Drive Community Garden, which is on church property. Open Circle Church has dedicated its property, time and financial resources to a dramatic long-term landscaping plan that includes native prairie and wildflowers, a rain garden, a community garden and even special environmentally friendly lawn grass. Overall goals include improving environmental quality and providing a neighborhood amenity. Open Circle Church is a theologically liberal Christian community whose vision is to create a community without walls, where all are welcome. www.opencirclechurch.com
