This is a 4 Quart butter churn made by Montgomery Wards. It has the original paper label on it, which says "Wards Butter Churn, Whipper & Mixer".It has a wooden paddle. WOODEN CRANK HANDLE AND METAL TOP ARE ORIGINAL RED PAINT. WOODEN PADDLES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. BOWL IS FOUR SIDED AND SIDES ARE CONCAVE WITH FLUTING DOWN EACH CORNER. BOWL IS APP. 10-1/4" HIGH AND APP. 7-1/2" WIDE. THIS IS A NICE OLD COLLECTIBLE PIECE OF AMERICANA. I am also including a vintage butter box from the Kickapoo Gold Medal Brand Creamery. Soldiers Grove, Wisconsin.
