LOCAL OPTOMETRIST & BUSINESS PARTNER PURCHASE BURNSVILLE, MINN PEARLE VISION CENTER

Pearle Vision, one of North America’s largest and most trusted licensed optical brands, is proud to announce it has signed a licensing agreement with Sirius Vision Optical Inc. to take over the Pearle Vision location at 1056 Burnsville Center in Burnsville, Minn. The Burnsville location had formerly been corporate owned and operated, serving the community since 1990.

Long-time Pearle Vision employees, Patrick Martin, O.D. and Jacqeline Winges-Beach, have partnered to create Sirius Vision Optical Inc. and recently assumed ownership of their first Pearle Vision eye care center. Both veterans of the industry with a combined 52 years of experience, Dr. Martin spent the last 25 years practicing as an optometrist at the Burnsville location. His partner, Jackie Winges-Beach, is also a former Pearle Vision employee and has 27 years of experience working with the brand.

“We are thrilled to become first-time business owners with our new Pearle Vision location in Burnsville,” said Dr. Martin, Pearle Vision licensee. “We will continue to ensure that the local community benefits from the brand’s extensive optical and retail experience, as well as provide our patients with the absolute best in eye care.”

Dr. Martin and Jackie Winges-Beach are both active members of their community and donate their time to a variety of charitable organizations, including OneSight. They also support local animal shelters and their love for animals plays a big role in their lives, hence the name Sirius Vision Optical Inc. The Sirius is also known as the Dog Star, and it is the brightest in the sky.

"For more than 50 years, Pearle Vision has been committed to providing genuine eye care to patients through our doctor-centric business model," said Srinivas Kumar, senior vice president and general manager, Pearle Vision. "We are excited that both of these long-time Pearle Vision veterans are joining our family of licensees and will continue to serve the residents of Burnsville."

Pearle Vision has a significant legacy in the industry and has continued to outpace competitors by evolving to meet patients' changing needs and providing quality products and services they desire. With more than 610 centers located throughout North America, the company offers best-in-class eye care provided by neighborhood doctors who are skilled optometrists, a principle created by Dr. Stanley Pearle in 1961.

"Pearle Vision is proud to offer optometrists a proven network of support, which allows them to focus on what they are really passionate about – delivering quality eye care to their patients," said Kumar.

Pearle Vision is now seeking to grow its national footprint and has identified development opportunities in markets from coast-to-coast. In addition to new territories available for development, corporate-owned locations in markets such as Ohio, Michigan and Florida also are available and have thriving operations with strong customer-bases.

To fuel its growth, the company is looking for optometrists interested in licensing opportunities. Ideal candidates for Pearle Vision ownership should possess a desire to join a trusted industry-leading brand and work within a proven system to provide exceptional eye care and superior patient service. Pearle Vision licensees can expect their initial investment to build a new center to cost approximately $200,000, in addition to a licensing fee of $30,000.
