Brad Rixmann of Pawn America Named Burnsville Chamber Business Person of the Year

Burnsville, MN (December 13, 2013) – The Burnsville Chamber of Commerce has named Brad Rixmann, Founder and CEO of Pawn America, 2013 Business Person of the Year

 

The honor, which started in 1979, is based on several nominating criteria including being an active member of the Burnsville Chamber who is successful in his/her business but also demonstrates an active interest in community affairs and the betterment of the local business community.

“True entrepreneurs follow a dream and create a plan to make that dream a reality,” says Bill Corby, President of the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce. “Mr. Rixmann has done just that over the past 22 years, starting with an empty storefront and growing it to a 600 member team across several states.  He has built a culture of service and professionalism, changed the image of his industry, and all the while keeping community a primary focus.  We honor Mr. Rixmann’s business accomplishments and personal attributes as the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce 2013 Business Person of the Year.”
