You Review It: Nha Sang Restaurant

People are talking about Nha Sang, a Tibetan restaurant that's garnering rave reviews on Yelp. Weigh in on Burnsville Patch!

For the last two years, Nha Sang has been quietly building a devoted following—locally and beyond. But lately word has been getting out about Burnsville's best kept secret: The tiny Tibetan restaurant is a powerhouse on Yelp, a user-based restaurant review site.

Nha Sang has gotten considerable praise for its service, decor, and delectable menu, which includes Asian-American classics (pad thai, lo mein and sesame chicken), Tibetan delicacies and a few original recipes that can only be described as Asian-Minnesotan fusion (Cranberry Chicken Curry and Walleye in Jalapeno Basil Sauce).

"Everything was cooked perfectly, absolutely perfect," said Greg H. in Burnsville.

Nha Sang got extra points from one visitor from out of town who was impressed by the signature recipes and the restaurant's presentation.

"The cranberry chicken curry (is) delicious, a unique mix of a not so saucey Thai red curry with a sweet component from the cranberries and the requisite south Asian spice punch," said Sujan P. from Chicago. "And the garnish was actually a piece of fresh banana leaf. Wow! I mean, banana leaves aren't plentiful in this area, so to (actually) invest in getting some for cooking and decoration is pretty impressive in my opinion."
