Viking moved its main office from Bloomington to Burnsville in 2010. In late June, the company announced that it had added another 5,000 square feet to the Burnsville location, as well as a complete remodel of their offices in Fridley and Ames, Iowa. The expansion project clears the way for more jobs and a bigger customer service center.

Changes at the Fridley location are just beginning. This week, Viking enters phase II of its work on the Fridley location, which first took up residence in a 900 square foot space in May of 2008. Once consutrction wraps up, the office will cover over 5,000 square feet, comfortably accommodating up to 80 employees.

The enlargement will allow the 18-year-old company to double its total staff. The hiring blitz will include management positions.

“All of the expansions we have been making are a sign of our growing business and the improvements will only provide us with more of a means to continue to expand," Founder Dave Moulder stated in a press release. "We are excited to be a part of these communities.”
