Congressman Kline, Chamber of Commerce Ousted from Burnsville Building
The owner of 101 W. Burnsville Parkway has told tenants to vacate the building due to a pending sale.
With fewer than 100 days until the general election on Nov. 6, GOP Congressman John Kline's Burnsville staff will have to find a new base of operations.
Kline's district office is presently located at Parkway Place, but an impending sale could push Kline and other tenants out, Sun Thisweek reports. Among them is the Burnsville Chamber of Commerce, which is already in the midst of transition. This summer, longtime Chamber President announced he would be leaving for a new position at Pawn America. His successor, , has not yet taken the helm.

Tenants will have to be out of the building at 101 W. Burnsville Parkway by the end of October, said Skip Nienhaus, Burnsville’s economic development coordinator. The building is owned by Pinehurst Properties. Both SunThisweek and the Star Tribune report that company representatives would not comment on redevelopment plans for the site.
Pinehurst is the company behind a major retail complex at 50th and France in Minneapolis. Other past developments include the TCF Financial Headquarters Building in Wayzata and the Highland Professional Building in St. Paul.
