City To Award Three Civil Works Projects in May

The mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the Burnsville City Hall on Thursday at 1 p.m.

The City of Burnsville is scheduled to award three separate civil works projects in early May. Contractors interested in bidding on the projects are being encouraged to submit proposals as soon as possible to City Hall.   

The projects consist of a range of work including street rehabilitation and reconstruction; repair of a watermain and contract patching; and park improvements.

The deadline to submit bids on the projects ranges from Apr. 12-14 but all interested bidders are required a attend a pre-bid meeting at Burnsville City Hall on Thursday at 1 p.m.

According to the Request for Proposal (RFP) documents provided by the city, “Bidders are required to attend this meeting or their bid shall not be accepted, and plan sets will not be available after this date.”

The Burnsville City Council will consider all bids in council chambers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3. Project awards should come shortly thereafter.

Scope of work: Street reconstruction and rehabilitation; watermain repair; park improvements
Bid deadline: Apr. 13 (no later than 11 a.m.)

Name: Pillsbury Area Improvements
Scope of work: Street reconstruction and rehabilitation
Bid deadline: Apr. 14 (no later than 1 p.m.)
