Burnsville Business Featured in Nationwide Expo
Innovative Office Solutions was part a nationwide conference of women-owned companies.
When more than 350 companies descended on the Minneapolis Convention Center last week, a local company was front and center among them.
According to the Star Tribune, the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council's annual conference and expo helped connect businesses and potential clients, including Burnsville-based Innovative Office Solutions.
“So many times, people feel like Minnesota’s a flyover,” the company's CEO, Jennifer Smith, told the newspaper. “No, we have so much to offer.”
“I love that women are so good at networking together,” she added. “It’s so fun to see if you can share best practices.”
This was the first time the event has been held in Minnesota.
