The 'Bite' is Back

Time is running out to register for Burnsville's annual culinary showcase, which will include a new honor, the "Cutting Edge" award.

The question to answer at this year's Bite of Burnsville is this: What restaurant are you most loyal to?

Such is the substance of an online poll that will be the primary means of selecting one local joint for a new honor called the "Cutting Edge Award." In the past, the Bite has offered two distinctions, the "Silver Fork" (the people's choice award) and the Silver Spoon.

Last year, the Silver Fork went to Ernie's, then a newcomer on the scene, while the Silver Spoon went to Brackett’s Crossing of Lakeville.
