Better Business Bureau Announces Move to Burnsville

The consumer watchdog organization will take up residence in Burnsville on March 26.

After 45 years in St. Paul, the Better Business Bureau of Minnesota and North Dakota is in the process of relocating to Burnsville.

The BBB will take up residence in the former Farmers Insurance building near Highway 13 and Interstate 35 — at 220 S. River Ridge Circle. The move comes at a pivotal time for the BBB of Minnesota and North Dakota, which is celebrating 100 years of existence.

"Symbolically, as we mark our centennial, we're very excited about this move and the prospect of a new beginning," said Dana Badgerow, president and CEO of the BBB. "And though we certainly are saddened to leave St. Paul, we feel our new offices better suit our current and future needs and will help us grow into a new century."

The organization hopes to be fully moved into its new space by March 26. The BBB will host an open house and a grand opening later this spring.

"Burnsville is a vibrant city and we look forward to becoming a part of that community," said Badgerow. "We'll still remain closely tied to Minneapolis-St. Paul, where our roots lie, and we will continue to serve all of Minnesota and North Dakota."
