Weather Alert: Thunderstorms Anticipated in Twin Cities Region
The National Weather Service in Chanhassen advises residents that storms may be on the way, Thursday.
Residents should be ready for thunderstorms on Thursday. The National Weather Service in Chanhassen issued a hazardous weather statement during the wee hours of Thursday morning for central and southern Minnesota.
The agency advised that scattered, non-severe storms may sweep the area today and tonight. Another round of storms is possible Friday through Wednesday. Though it is too early to determine the magnitude of the storms, with it appears that the area is at the greatest risk of severe weather on Sunday night. Burnsville Patch will update as needed.
