Video: New Lynx Kitten Makes Public Debut at Minnesota Zoo

A new Canada lynx kitten is on exhibit on the 's Medtronic Minnesota Trail.

The male lynx, born at the zoo on May 11, will be out for a few hours each morning starting at 9 a.m., according to a press release.

For his first few months of life, he nursed and bonded with his mother, and is now old enough to leave the den area.

Canada lynx are currently listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act, the press release says. To read more about the species, visit the Minnesota Zoo's website.
