National Grocer ALDI Brings New Jobs to the Twin Cities

What: Known for offering wages significantly higher than the industry standard, ALDI will host hiring events for its Savage, Inver Grove Heights, Coon Rapids, Mahtomedi, St. Paul, Richfield and soon-to-open Woodbury locations on Thursday, June 14, as a result of  customers’ rising demand for ALDI, which is  fueling significant growth in the Twin Cities.

 Who:  ALDI representative and local residents currently looking for employment opportunities

When:  Thursday, June 14, 2012, 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

• ALDI, 3410 Northdale Blvd., Coon Rapids, MN
• Holiday Inn - St. Paul East, 2201 Burns Ave., Woodbury, MN
• ALDI, 1134 University Ave. West, St. Paul, MN
• ALDI, 6310 Penn Ave. South, Richfield, MN

Positions:                          

•   Cashiers (full- and part-time) - $13.00 per hour

•   Shift Managers - $13.00 per hour (+ $4/hour when performing Manager duties)

 Job Requirements:         

•   Must be 18 years or older to apply

•   High school diploma or GED

•   Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.

•   Retail experience preferred

•   Drug screening and background check

•   Ability to lift 45 pounds
