Scotty McCreery Coming to Mystic

He’s one of country music’s youngest new superstars, and now 19-year-old Scotty McCreery is bringing his “Weekend Roadtrip Tour 2013” with special guest Sarah Darling to the Mystic Showroom stage Friday, March 29, at 8 p.m.

After becoming the youngest male singer ever to win American Idol in 2011, McCreery’s star has risen rapidly. His first album Clear as Day debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and Top Country Albums charts, and was certified Platinum in just 13 weeks. McCreery went on to win New Artist of the Year at both the 2011 American Country Awards and the 2012 Academy of Country Music Awards. He was ranked No. 1 on Billboard's list of Top New Country Artists for 2011 and landed the No. 4 spot on Billboard's “21 Under 21: Music’s Hottest Minors 2012.”
