Okee Dokee Brothers Ascend From Burnhaven Library to Grammy Fame
The childrens music duo played the Burnsville area last summer. Sunday they won a Grammy for their album "Can You Canoe?" which boasts such hits as "The Bullfrog Opera" and "Kids with Beards."
The Twin Cities' own Okee Dokee Brothers went and won the Grammy Award for Best Children's Album Sunday, for their CD Can You Canoe? The YouTube above shows them playing a pre-Grammy show Saturday in Los Angeles.
Just last summer they played the Burnhaven Library and McColl Pond in Savage. Did you go see that show? You never know who will become famous when you go to a library event.
