Instrument Building, Children's Authors and a Grammy Winner at Burnsville Festival

The Dakota County Library's free Rhythm & Words festival will provide education and entertainment for all ages.

Dakota County families will have the opportunity to hear award-winning musical guests, meet published authors and chow down on a mid-day meal on Saturday, June 8, during the library's Rhythm & Words festival.

The free festival, hosted by the Dakota County Library, runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center at 12600 Nicollet Ave.

and book presentations from authors

  • Cori Doerrfeld (Little Bunny Foo Foo),
  • Sarah Forss (Alphabeasties),
  • Michael Hall (Cat Tale), and
  • Stephanie Watson (Elvis & Olive).
