Get Ready for 'Return to the Forbidden Planet'—the Musical

Watch out Anne Francis. The Chameleon Theatre Circle is giving Francis' most famous film, "Forbidden Planet" a musical facelift.

Next week the company will debut its newest play, "Return to the Forbidden Planet," which is described as a "classic rock jukebox musical that boldly goes where Shakespeare and Science Fiction have never gone before." The play will open on Dec. 7 and run through Dec. 16 at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center's Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $20 for general admission, $17 for seniors, students, audio description and ASL patrons, and groups of eight or more.
