What's Open and Closed on Labor Day in Burnsville?

Government offices are generally closed, but the mall and other businesses will be open.

While government offices will close, many businesses in Burnsville will be open.

Burnsville city hall will be closed. The post office, library and most banks are also closed.

Police and fire dispatch will be available. Call 911 for emergency and non-emergency police, fire and medical needs. 

City compost site is open on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for buckthorn drop-off.

Minnesota Valley Transit Authority: On Monday, routes 440, 444, 445 and the METRO Red Line will run on the weekend schedule. Minnesota State Fair service will continue to operate on Labor Day.

Target: Open regular hours; Saturday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Sunday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Monday 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Cub Foods: Open regular hours - 24/7

Walmart: Open regular hours - 24/7

Burnsville Center will be open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday. The mall will close early on Monday at 6 p.m.
