Monday

• Family Game Night: The whole family is invited for a free night of fun, including Sorry, Uno, Twister and many other board games. Supplies provided. Ages: All ages. Starts at 6:00 p.m. at Burnhaven Library.

• Burnsville Planning Commission: Check out the agenda before you go. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at city hall.

Tuesday

• Burnsville City Council Work Session: This week, the council will consider the question: How much senior rental housing will the city need? Other items on the agenda are an update on both the local real estate market and proposed Xcel Energy projects. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. in council chambers at city hall.

Thursday

• Fundraiser for the International Festival of Burnsville: "Feast for the Festival" will be held at Stephano's Restaurant, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. According to a press release, 20 percent of the restaurant's profits will go to the festival, which is set for June 16 this year.

• A Titanic Night at the Library: Residents are invited to a night of Titanic trivia, readers' theater and tea to commemorate the Titanic tragedy of April 14, 1912. Period costumes are encouraged. Ages: 12 and older. The event takes place at Pleasant Hill Library in Hastings. Starts at 5:00 p.m.

Friday 

"True Love:" Chameleon Theatre Circle will debut a gritty, contemporary adaptation of two classic plays — Euripides' Hippolytus and Racine's Phaedra— which have been "radically reconstructed," grafted together and placed in Burnsville's Trailer Park world. The play will open on Friday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors over 62 and students.

Saturday

• Home Remodeling Fair: The Burnsville Chamber of Commerce invites residents to to come and get tips on all things home-related such as landscaping, gardening, lighting, electrical, cabinetry, windows and glass, flooring, heating and cooling, roofing, siding, closets,basement remodels, bathrooms, additions, and security. The fair begins at 9:00 a.m. and runs till 2:00 p.m. at Burnsville High School.

Sunday

• Burnsville High Girls Lacrosse Fundraiser: Join the team for an all-you-can-eat brunch at Carbone's from  8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tickets are $13 for adults, $8 for kids 10 and younger or $40 for a four-person family package. Proceeds will benefit the BHS girls' lacrosse program. For more information, contact Pat LaValle at (952) 454-4040 or by email at patlavalle@gmail.com.
