Search for Missing Lakeville Dog Expands to Burnsville

Thelma, a white Pyrenees, fled from the parking lot of Southfork Animal Hospital on Feb. 13 and has been sighted as recently as last week.

Four weeks after bolting from her foster mom's arms, the search for a missing Lakeville dog has expanded to the environs of Burnsville.

Thelma is a Pyrenees, a large dog of about 85 pounds with heavy, snow-white fur, though she may be a bit dirty after four weeks on the loose. Her collar and a leash are likely still attached.

She was last spotted running into the neighborhood east of Interstate 35 and north of Kenwood Trail. Members of NorthStar Great Pyrenees Rescue have reason to believe she may have traveled into the wooded areas of southern Burnsville.
