Pet of the Week: Red is a Lovable Lab-Hound Mix

Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues.

Red is an adorable 5 year old lab/hound mix that is so deserving of a family.  

Red gets along great with cats! He is currently fostered in a home with several cats of all ages and doesn't bother them at all. He also loves people including kids. Red is good with other submissive dogs or would do wonderful as an only dog who gets all the attention. He sleeps in a dog bed at night and is also crate trained. Red loves to go for walks, but pulls pretty hard on the leash. 

He will need some more leash training, but certainly enjoys exploring the world.  Please consider Red to be part of your family.
