Pet of the Week: Foxy Would Love a Home for the Holidays

Foxy is the biggest sweetheart—really her only fault is that she really likes to jump up and give you kisses.

Editor's note: This is a weekly series called "Pet of the Week" where we feature a companion up for adoption from Dakota County animal rescues.

Foxy, a medium-sized terrier, would love a home for the holidays.

She's 2-3 years old and 33 pounds fully grown. Foxy is the biggest sweetheart—really her only fault is that she really likes to jump up and give you kisses and sometimes this is unexpected, but she's never rude about it.

She loves patrolling the backyard with the other dogs and keeping it free of squirrels and crows, which are not her foster mom's favorites. She enjoys her daily 3 mile walk and walks very well on a leash.

She is dependably house trained. She is wonderful with young kids, cats and other dogs. Foxy really wants a new home for Christmas, and a maybe a new walking partner.

Foxy is very low maintenance, really her only requirement would be an hour of TV/couch time with you every night and a fenced in back yard.

She is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. Please read about her on her own webpage at http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/24328306. This will describe her adoption criteria, fee and all her vet care.

She is currently fostered in Lakeville.
