Nicollet Avenue to Be Under Construction for Six Weeks
Construction crews are working on Nicollet Avenue, a central corridor cutting through Heart of the City, which will result in lane reductions and closures.
Drivers should expect major changes on Nicollet Avenue over the next month-and-a-half.
City crews are installing watermain from Burnsville Parkway to an underground water storage facility just north of Civic Center Parkway. Consequently, the road from Burnsville Parkway and Civic Center Parkway will be reduced to one lane in each direction for the next six weeks. A number of tributary streets will be cut off at Nicollet as well, specifically 129th Steet and Arbor Lane. In addition, the 130th Street stop light will be out of service.
