The Minnesota Department of Transportation is extending the single lane traffic for both directions of I-35.

It's going to be one lane in each direction from County Road 50 in Lakeville to County Road 2 in Elko/New Market starting Tuesday at 8 p.m. and continuing into November.

Northbound and southbound traffic in that stretch will be on the same side of the freeway so crews can repair the concrete pavement

Also the northbound I-35 ramps from County Road 60/185th Street and northbound I-35 to County Road 50 will close. Drivers will take County Road 50 to access northbound I-35.
