Garden & Landscape Contest Returns After 2-Year Hiatus

The Burnsville Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) and Cal's Market & Garden Center are reviving the competition in 2012.

The Burnsville Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), in partnership with Cal’s Market & Garden Center, are presenting the 2012 Burnsville Garden & Landscape Contest, as part of its 25th Anniversary Celebration. After a two year hiatus, the Burnsville CVB is reviving the event that was formerly an annual contest put on by the City of Burnsville. The event rewards residential and business neighborhoods who have helped to keep the community looking beautiful, making the job of attracting visitors to the area that much easier.

From June 1st through June 30th, Burnsville residents and businesses can nominate Single Family Dwellings, Apartment Complexes, Townhouse Complexes/Associations, Condo Associations, Neighborhoods or Burnsville Businesses that they think have impeccable landscaping or gardening. These properties will be reviewed by the Burnsville Convention & Visitors Board of Directors, and the top three entries in each category will receive the following:

  • 1st Place - $100 Gift Card to Cal's Market and Garden Center
  • 2nd Place - $50 Gift Card to a Burnsville restaurant
  • 3rd Place - 4 passes to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify, nominees must:
