Dads and Daughters Dance the Night Away at Ballerina Princess Ball

The annual south metro father-daughter dance drew families from across the region.

Girls and dads from across the south metro attended the Little Sweetheart Ballerina Princess Ball on Feb. 10, where they enjoyed an evening of ballerina-themed activities and fun.

The ball is an annual Valentine's Day event hosted by the South of the River Recreators. The host city rotates annually, and this year the event was held at the Eagan Community Center. Approximately 300 guests attended.

The event gives dads and daughters a special opportunity to bond through activities such as decorating cookies and making princess crowns, said Kerry Phillips, recreation supervisor for the Eagan Parks and Recreation Department.
