Closures on I-35W Scheduled This Weekend
Burnsville drivers may encounter delays on Saturday and Sunday.
Both directions of I-35W will experience closures this weekend, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT).
Starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 21, northbound I-35W will close between the I-35/35W/35E split and Highway 13. Lanes will reopen by 8 p.m. on Saturday.
On Sunday, Sept. 22 southbound I-35W will be a single lane between Highway 13 and the I-35/35W/35E split. The closure is scheduled from 6 a.m to 8 p.m.

Crews will be resurfacing the roadway under Highway 13, weather permitting.
