Burnsville's Wednesday Concert Series Ends with Local Donation
Wednesday in the Park concert series began in June and concluded on Aug. 7.
The Wednesday in the Park summer concert series ended on a note of goodwill earlier this month.
Joe Gothard, superintendent of the Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District, and Burnsville Mayor Elizabeth Kautz presented a $1,000 check to the Making Our Moms Successful (MOMS) program. The program serves single mothers in Dakota and Scott counties.
Throughout the concert series attendees traded food donations for Pepsi beverages. Pepsi then donated $1,000 to the series.

Wednesday in the Park is organized through the partnership between District 191 Community Education and the City of Burnsville.
