Bridge Repair to Close Lanes and Ramps at I-35W and Hwy. 13 in Burnsville

Closures on southbound I-35W and Highway 13 will start Thursday as crews repair damage to the bridge.

The right lane of southbound I-35W will close at Highway 13 at 8 p.m. on Thursday. The loop ramp from westbound Hwy. 13 to southbound I-35W will also close.

"The southbound I-35W loop ramp to eastbound Highway 13 and the right lane on the Highway 13 bridge spanning I-35W remain closed," the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported in a news release.

MnDOT advises motorists to find alternate routes during the closures. All lanes and ramps will reopen by 2 p.m. on Friday.
