The Bierstube began in Hastings in 1962, built a location in Inver Grove Heights in 1983, and still offers an amazing Reuben sandwhich alongside their authentic German cuisine. Originally known for their burgers, Rachels, Reubens, and sizzling steaks, the Bierstube began offering authentic German meals and even trips to Germany itself.
Three months ago, they had the genius idea of taking their most popular sandwhich and making it a breakfast item: The Reuben Omelette was born! While the omelette itself is delightful, the side of pumpernickel toast is absolutely amazing and almost grabs the spotlight from the main item.
Be warned, the Reuben Omelette is a breakfast-item only, and if you arrive after breakfast, you may want to try the famous Reuben or the Reuben Burger.
