2013 Garden and Landscape Contest Winners Presented Their Awards

The winners attended the Burnsville City Council meeting to receive awards that ranged from $100 gift cards to tickets to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

The 2013 Garden and Landscape Contest winners received their awards at the Aug. 5 Burnsville City Council meeting.

"We are so appreciative of these residents, neighborhoods and businesses that put so much effort into keeping our community looking great. It's no secret that a beautiful city makes our job of attracting visitors to stay and play in our community just that much easier," said Amie Burrill, executive director of the Burnsville Convention and Visitors Bureau (BCVB) in a news release.

The top entries in each category received: $100 Gift Card to Cal's Market & Garden Center (1st Place), $50 Gift Card to a Burnsville Restaurant (2nd Place), and four tickets to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum (3rd Place).
