Think you have the BEST Holiday Lights in Burnsville?

Nominate YOUR favorite home in the Burnsville Winter Lighting Contest which kicks off TODAY! 

Now through December 13th, 2013, Burnsville residents may nominate Single Family Dwellings, Neighborhoods (20 single family homes or less), Apartment/Condo Complexes or Townhomes/Apartments or Condominiums that they think have outstanding winter light displays.  To qualify, nominees must be located within Burnsville City Limits, be visible from the street and match criteria for the submitted category.

Submissions will be reviewed by the BCVB Board of Directors and the top three entries in each category will receive the following: $100 Visa® Gift Card, donated by Dakota Electric Association (1st Place), $50 Gift Card to a Burnsville Restaurant (2nd Place), and 2 passes to the Minnesota Zoo (3rd Place).

To submit a nomination, visit http://www.Burnsvillemn.com/Winter-Lighting-Contest.cfm or pick up a form at any of the following locations: Burnsville Convention & Visitors Bureau, Burnsville City Hall, Burnsville Library, Cornerstone Copy and Jo Jo’s Rise & Wine.  All submissions must be accompanied by a photo to be considered. Nominations will be accepted now through December 13, 2013. Winners will be notified via phone.

The Burnsville Winter Lighting Contest is presented by the Burnsville Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), in partnership with Dakota Electric Association. The Burnsville Convention & Visitors Bureau was founded in 1987, as the community’s Destination Marketing Organization (DMO), whose purpose is to enhance the community by increasing the volume and spending of visitors to the city.
