This gathering for seniors who are interested in writing and poetry is scheduled to meet at the Burnsville Senior Center on the 3rd Monday of each month at 10.a.m. until further notice. Those who wish to participate are encouraged to bring any material they have written for a book, or a published book itself, as well as poetry they have written, to share with others. There is no charge to attend these gatherings.

Thr Burnsville Senior Center at Diamondhead is part of the Burnsville, Eagan, Savage School District 191. This center offers a place for senior citizens to get connected through the The Chatter (a newsletter published three times a year). Seniors can also join the Fun and Friendship Club, which has a low yearly membership fee.
This senior center offers health insurance assistance, legal assistance, meals on wheels and senior noontime dining. Health and wellness programs are also available, as are common interest group, like the Food & Fun club, which offers social activities and games.
